BNZ Theatre | Accessibility

As part of our ongoing commitment to creating an inclusive and accessible experience for all fans, we are excited to introduce our new initiative: Venue Accessibility Guide. This guide is designed to ensure that fans with diverse accessibility requirements can fully enjoy their experience during events at the BNZ Theatre.
Mobility parking for events at BNZ Theatre is often in high demand, so we recommend planning ahead and allowing plenty of time for your arrival. There are two accessible car parks located on Sapper Moore-Jones Place, right next to the theatre, as well as additional mobility parking spaces available along Victoria Street. All spaces operate on a first come, first served basis.
For convenient passenger drop off, please use the designated pick up and drop off zone located directly outside Hamilton Hotel. This area provides easy access to the theatre, with a direct path to the main entry doors via Embassy Park.
All of our Front of House staff are trained to assist guests with accessibility needs. If you require any additional support during your visit, please speak with our Box Office team, who will be happy to accommodate your request.
We offer a hearing loop system to support guests who are hard of hearing. This technology transmits sound directly to compatible hearing aids for clearer audio during performances. We also have headphones available for use if required.
The hearing loop is available via the Box Office - our team will be happy to assist you.
For the best experience, we recommend selecting seating closer to the stage.
Lift access is located directly opposite the Box Office near our main entry. If you require any assistance, please speak with one of our friendly Box Office team members who will be happy to help.
Service animals are warmly welcome to attend with patrons and may remain by your side during the performance. Please note that dedicated seating for service animals is not provided.
While we do not have designated indoor toileting facilities for service animals, our team is happy to assist with directions to suitable outdoor areas if needed.
Wheelchair and mobility seating is available at each level of the auditorium with a total of fourteen wheelchair/mobility seats/positions throughout the venue.
Patrons using a wheelchair may choose to transfer into a seat or remain in their wheelchair.
When booking tickets please advise if you require a seat removed to make space for a wheelchair or if you intend to transfer into a seat.
For standing General Admission (GA) events, wheelchair positions are available on the Circle Level to provide the best possible viewing experience.
Every wheelchair/mobility patron are entitled to one companion.
Adjacent blocks of seats are available to book for groups close to the wheelchair/mobility seat/bay area depending on availability.
Mobility or wheelchair seats are able to be booked online for most events. If you have any further requirements or have any enquiries, you will need to contact Ticketmaster on their direct mobility line to purchase mobility seating.
